Accelkids Hosts its 1st Annual Back to School Pizza Party Event

Las Vegas, NV - The spirit of education and empowerment filled the air as Accelkids, an aspiring leading nonprofit organization, hosted its much-anticipated Annual Back to School Pizza Party Event on July 22, 2023. The event took place in Historic Westside Las Vegas and proved to be a momentous occasion, marking another milestone in Accelkids' inspiring journey of transforming lives through education.

The event commenced with over 50 excited children eagerly gathering at the venue, where they were welcomed with open arms by the Accelkids team. Thanks to the incredible support from 35 generous donors across the United States, each child received a backpack filled with essential school supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and more. The joy and gratitude on the children's faces were heartwarming, and it was evident that this simple act of kindness would have a profound impact on their academic journey.

Founder Dylen Richmond, now a thriving Morehouse College student at the age of 19, expressed his deep appreciation for the continuous support that has made Accelkids' mission possible.

The Back to School Pizza Party Event offered more than just backpacks and supplies. It was a day of celebration and inspiration, featuring engaging activities and fun games that kept the children enthralled. A giant dart game, basketball shootouts, prize spinners, plinko, and a massive bowling lane were just a few of the attractions that brought smiles to the children's faces.

Special guest speakers further motivated the young attendees.

The local fire department shared valuable insights on fire safety, instilling important life skills beyond the classroom.

Community Business Leader, Rasheedah "Undi" Ladd, encouraged the children to believe in their dreams and reach for the stars.

Accelkids' team of dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and donors played a pivotal role in ensuring the event's success.
